Sligo Regional Design Office (RDO) released the Emerging Preferred Transport Corridor for the N17 Knock to Collooney [Atlantic Economic Corridor] Project on the 31st of January 2023.

The project is now in a period of public consultation.

As part of the public consultation, dates have been scheduled to allow members of the public to meet in person with the project team. These public consultations are being held in:


    • Teach Laighne (Humbert St., Tobercurry, Co. Sligo, F91 Y328)

      • Tuesday, 7th March (between 1.30pm and 7.30pm)

    • Knock House Hotel (Knock, Co. Mayo, F12 R6Y5)

      • Wednesday, 8th March (between 1.30pm and 7.30pm)

    • Clayton Hotel (Clarion Road, Ballinode, Sligo, F91 N8EF)

      • Tuesday, 14th March (between 1.30pm and 7.30pm)


Meetings are scheduled for 20-minutes and limited to 3 persons per appointment.

Please note that pre-booking is essential for these meetings. Bookings can be made by calling 071 91 11990 from the 21st of February 2023.

Please ensure you have your Group Reference (if applicable) and Eircode to hand when making a booking.

In addition to the in-person dates, call-back appointments can be booked with the project team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This can be done via the contact-us section of the project website or by calling 071 91 11990.
